Ayurveda is the oldest medical system in the world. Derived from its ancient Sanskrit roots – ‘ayus’ (life) and ‘ved’ (knowledge) – and offering a rich, comprehensive outlook to a healthy life from around 5000 years. At that time,the average adult life expectancy was 30 years old, as nature took its toll. Then, ancient sages in India searched within the vast resources of nature to extend this ephemeral existence. Before the pyramids were built, these ancient sages created Ayurveda.
The main source of knowledge of Ayurveda remains in the Vedas, the divine books of knowledge the Rishis (Indian sages) propounded, and more specifically the fourth of the series, namely Atharvavedathat dates back to around 1000 BC.The main classical Ayurveda texts begin with accounts of the transmission of medical knowledge from the gods to sages, and then to human physicians.In Sushruta Samhita (Sushruta’s Compendium), Sushruta wrote that Dhanvantari, Hindu god of Ayurveda, incarnated himself as a king of Varanasi and taught medicine to a group of physicians, including Sushruta.

She had a vision of giving people, the greatest gifts of nature using the wonderful ancient science of Ayurveda: a healthy body, radiant beauty and a long life!
It is believed that each person has a unique constitution, they generally fall under one of three main dosha types — vata, kapha, and pitta — based on their body type, personality, and sensitivities.While every skin and hair type is different and has varied concerns to address, products with generic formulations have not been satisfactory. This motivated the founders to explore Ayurveda, which brings in customized (dosha-based) and holistic approaches to address various skin and hair issues.
Starting with a small range of herbal pain oil developed in Dr. Preeti Goel`s kitchen, the business has grown organically to over several holistic wellbeing products.
